He has given us to live
empty back roads
no noise
just animals in pastures
surround us
cattle horses sheep
chickens a dog and donkey
what a new experience for us
to see lambs and calves being born
and watch grow up quickly
under a big wide open Texas sky
blessed watching sunrises and sunsets
God’s glory beginning and ending
the day
